Artistic Statement
The content of Marck's video sculptures always plays on a screen that was originally used as a CRT tube monitor or LCD display. The casing of the screen is dismantled, redesigned, or completely reconstructed. A central element of his artistic process is that the outer form always corresponds to the content being shown, thereby becoming a statement in itself. In the work 'Woman Case', for example, the monitors were transformed into a box in which a woman is enclosed.

Marck is represented in Switzerland by Lichtfeld Gallery in Basel. Since 2007, his video sculptures have been presented at renowned art fairs worldwide, including the Scope Art Fair. Venues have included New York, Miami, Istanbul, Seoul, Basel, London, Munich, Vienna, Bologna, Brazil, Berlin, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Shanghai, Taipei, Beijing, Hong Kong, and Ars Electronica in Linz, Austria. Marck's works are held in major public and private collections, including the Krupp Collection at the Boston Museum (USA), the Grande Finale Museum in France (until its closure in 2018), the Dosan Art Center in Korea, the Borusan Art Center in Istanbul, and the ZKM in Karlsruhe. His video sculptures can also be found in numerous private collections, often alongside installations by media art pioneer Nam June Paik.
